 Sade will be releasing her debut live album ‘Lovers Live’ on February 18th. Recorded last year on Sade’s ‘Lovers Rock Tour’ at Arrowhead Pond, Anaheim, CA and Great Western Forum, Inglewood, CA.
This tour, Sade’s first live dates in seven years, received outstanding reviews. Vibe Magazine proclaimed "Lovers Rock Tour best concert of the year".
The album, mixed by Mike Pela, will be released on CD, cassette and mini disc with 13 tracks, and on DVD and VHS with 22 tracks.
The DVD and VHS was filmed by Sophie Muller (who also directed the videos for ‘By Your Side’ and ‘King of Sorrow’). The DVD also contains: Backstage footage and fan messages to Sade – shot by The Polish Brothers, the ‘King of Sorrow’ video plus a selection of Black and White photographs taken during the tour.

Sade has enjoyed critical acclaim with their latest album ‘Lovers Rock’. The album has been certified gold in the UK, stormed into the U.S. Billboard charts at No.3 and been certified by the RIAA as triple platinum. Lovers Rock also dominated the top of the European charts, and to date, has sold 6 million copies.
Sade has been nominated for two grammy’s: Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for ‘By Your Side’ and Best Pop Vocal Album for ‘Lovers Rock’. At the recent American Music Awards Sade received an accolade in the Adult contemporary section for ‘Favourite Artist’. She has also received a Brit nomination for ‘Best British Female’.
